My first time doing this. Hopefully Daily Motion didn't mess with the compression.
Let me know what you think.

A New Post
So I thought I'd start doing some new posts and showing some of my work, mostly sketches. The purpose of this blog will be to document my progression as an artist. In order to get some people familiar of where I stood about two or three years ago, here's some paintings I did in high school:
It's always good to have these on hand so you can look back and see how you've developed your skills since., just like my Preston Blair lessons from the beginning of this year (check them below). When I get the time I'll scan a few of my recent sketches, and share some new stuff.
Here's something I did in my infancy, maybe when I was about two. It's a caricature of a skeleton.

Second Attempt!
So here it is, my second attempt at lesson one. Again, I've upped the contrast on these so you can see the construction better:
Any comments appreciated! That means praises and constructive criticism welcomed!

First Attempt at Lesson 1
ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive Project Blog: Meta: The $100,000 Animation Drawing Course- Lesson 9
My first attempt at John K's first lesson about construction. Well, better to start now than never, right?
The first two I upped the contrast. The blue pencil was pretty light.
I'll be tackling these again for sure. Perhaps not so rough next time.
